Have you ever wondered the amount of work a graphic designer has to do, and how they do it all ? Well For my Digital Artefact (DA) for BCM114 I have decided to create a graphic design tutorial on YouTube were I will provide viewers with a step by step process that is needed to take place for a successful brand logo. Throughout the process I will highlight the stages of the designs through rough sketches followed by the process of scanning those drafts into the creative Cloud programs which consists of programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign etc. Furthermore the process of deciding outlining thickness and colour will then be shown, followed my text size and colour etc. At the end of the clips I will highlight the amount of drafts and concepts it takes to end up with your final design.
My DA will take place on platforms such as Instagram, WordPress, YouTube and Twitter, this will allow me to obtain an audience through asking for the viewers opinion for what their favourite design was, moreover i will post the process of each concept design for the brand through twitter by creating a thread allowing to highlight the design process that is taken over time. This DA it will allow me to build an online presence as a graphic designer and allow me to further gain experience and build my digital portfolio.
