Goals achieved set for the project:
At the start of the major project my first concept/idea developed into a survival skills course, however I could not decided if I was going to make it a course or camp. However through this concept people would learn practical life-saving skills, attitudes such as resourcefulness and how to stay calm under pressure, and push yourself to the limits like never before. When you arrive in the wilderness with no tent, and limited supplies, the pressure is on to source food and water locally from streams. Guided by a trained team, you’ll be taught to identify edible resources such as plants and animals, lay traps, skin and gut your dinner. You’ll acquire survival knife skills, wilderness first aid, fire lighting, and rope skills like knots and harnesses, then use these skills to navigate difficult terrain such as rivers, lakes and steep ground by day and night. You’ll also learn to build emergency shelters and protect yourself in the wild from attack. Much more than a bush craft course, it’s the perfect preparation for enthusiasts considering any of our extreme two or five day courses.
However after starting to develop a physical design I noticed that I needed to create an idea that was more suitable for families and tourists, thus why I decided to go for the survival skills camp over the course, this would allow me market to a wider audience allowing it to be more of an educational adventure concept.
I wanted my web and desktop page to be interactive for the users to be able to use more effectively and more easily. To do this I wanted to focus on making purposeful content as it would allow me to get rid of unnecessary information and focus on the user’s experience. As a result, my website content will be communicate effectively for the viewers to understand. Furthermore I wanted to create a simple navigation path for the viewers allowing them to get around the site and to their required page in a couple of pages leaving with a happy user experience.

Issues of usability of the interface design or the structure/concept:
Although I did not find that I had any issues with the usability of the interface design, but more had issues on designing the interfaces using Adobe XD. As this was my first time experiencing and using XD I found it tricky to start off, however, after watching some tutorials and playing around in the program I quickly found my way around and started to create my sites. the most difficult part of developing these interfaces I found was the prototyping stage as I had troubles with trying to animate and create affects that some other pages have that XD would not let you do. Although these challenges were faced, I feel I successfully created an interface that allows the viewers too easily navigate their way around while obtaining the content being communicated.

What was done well:
In my major project I personally like how it is currently evolving of the duration of this project and did the best in creating a simple but sophisticated interface that would allow the audience to easily navigate the interface and reaching the designated page in only a few clicks resulting a a good user experience.
